Ownership 

The Ownership Element measures the entitlement of Blacks to participate in the ownership of an enterprise.

We offer guidance and commercial strategies to the implementation of this element with the establishment of employee beneficiary schemes and Trusts.

There are several ways of obtaining Ownership points.

1. Selling a portion of the business to a black party or individual

2. Selling shares to employees, in a employee beneficiary scheme.

3. Giving employees access to shares held in a Trust.

All these types of ownership schemes are legal, but it must be borne in mind that, it directly and/or indirectly affects the personal estates of owners and shareholders, and more often that not will it require that the estates and, testaments of the affected parties be amended.
